Havelock House is a modern bed & breakfast where architectural refinement and guest comfort are seamlessly combined. To complement the carefully designed interiors and welcoming shared spaces, the owners required a high-performance audio solution capable of delivering immersive background music throughout the property. The key challenge was to ensure consistent sound coverage across guest rooms and common areas, while maintaining intuitive control, operational flexibility, and a discreet integration that preserves the premium aesthetic of the B&B.
Delivered in collaboration with local distributor Greer Compston, the installation is built around the LUNA-F flexible network audio matrix processor, acting as the central hub for audio distribution and zone management. Its network-based architecture enables independent routing of audio sources to different areas of the property, allowing tailored sound experiences in guest rooms and shared spaces alike. This provides the flexibility to create a cohesive atmosphere throughout the B&B while maintaining reliable, centralized system control.
Music playback is managed through the XMP44 modular audio system with integrated SourceCon™ streaming modules, ensuring stable access to high-quality digital and network audio sources. Combined with SMQ350 WaveDynamics™ quad-channel power amplifiers, the system delivers clean, efficient power distribution and consistent audio performance across all zones, ensuring a premium listening experience for every guest.
To achieve immersive yet discreet sound reproduction, CELO and MERO in-ceiling loudspeakers were installed throughout the property. Their flush-mounted design allows seamless architectural integration, while dedicated CELO subwoofers provide enhanced low-frequency depth and warmth. This combination ensures balanced, high-quality sound that enhances the ambiance without impacting the visual integrity of the interior.
The entire system is managed through the AUDAC Touch™ platform, enabling intuitive and centralized control of sources, volume, and zone configuration. This ensures effortless day-to-day operation for the owners, while creating a refined and comfortable atmosphere for guests.
