In the capital of a nation that produced legends like Iniesta, Casillas, and Butragueño, you’ll find the Legends home of Football. Located in Madrid on the beautiful square of Puerta del Sol, this museum celebrates the sport’s greatest moments with historic memorabilia from the FIFA World Cup, Champions League, LaLiga, and more of the beautiful game.
Spanning seven immersive floors, visitors can explore match-worn artifacts, interactive exhibits, a 4D cinema, and VR experiences. The journey ends at LaLiga 29’s rooftop restaurant, offering views over Madrid’s most iconic square, an unforgettable tribute to fútbol.
This project was made possible thanks to AUDAC’s Spanish distributor, Seesound, in collaboration with Wow Experience AV, ensuring an exceptional audiovisual experience throughout the museum.
Such an installation needs the right amount of power, so the setup is driven by 44 SMQ350 and 13 SMQ1250 quad-channel amplifiers, delivering precise and efficient amplification for the entire venue. To integrate these analog amplifiers into the digital Dante™ network, 59 ANI44XT audio network interfaces were used. While not a matrix, the ANI44XT acts as a bridge, ensuring seamless connectivity within the Dante™ ecosystem.
For Ronaldo-like sound reproduction, the space features 174 VIRO5 loudspeakers, proving that powerful sound can come from a compact design. Thanks to their clever aluminium construction, these small but mighty speakers pack an impressive punch, filling the exhibition areas with powerful, pristine audio.
These a re complemented by 31 VEXO8 loudspeakers, delivering powerful and detailed sound through an 8” mid/low driver and 1” compression driver. With a rotatable horn for precise coverage and built-in protection against overload, they provide dynamic and impactful performance where enhanced audio presence is needed in the museum.
To ensure deep, immersive bass throughout the venue, the setup includes 35 NOBA8 bass cabinets, known for their discreet yet powerful low-frequency enhancement, and 19 BASO10 subwoofers, adding a powerful shot to the audio experience.
Specialized zones, including interactive exhibits and themed installations, are enriched by 10 CALI660I in-ceiling loudspeakers and 3 CELO8S ceiling subwoofers, delivering an immersive sound experience without disrupting the sleek design of the space. The CALI660I’s wide 145° coverage ensures clear and balanced audio, while its integrated back cone prevents sound loss into the false ceiling, maximizing efficiency. Meanwhile, the CELO8S adds deep, natural bass from above, with its SlimLine™ grill blending seamlessly into the ceiling. Just like a perfect football team, these speakers work together to create a flawless audio experience across the museum.
