We would like to introduce you regularly to the AUDAC enthusiasts who are helping us spread the word of our innovative solutions. Today we introduce you our enthusiastic colleague Vicky.
What are your responsibilities at AUDAC?
Working closely together with our warehouse team, we make sure that our customers get the correct items at that desired places in the wanted time frame and are joined by the necessary documents. We try to provide the best service by joining the talents of every member of our team; taking care of warehousing, transportation, logistic administration and customs on a daily basis.
How did you end up at AUDAC?
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a specialization in Logistics Management at PXL in Hasselt, I started looking around for a challenging job. After 2 weeks of sending out job application letters, I ended up for my first interview at PVS. Surprisingly the next Monday I was already sitting at my own desk, answering phone calls and helping out clients. It was a real rollercoaster in the beginning, and since it has been a challenge.
What has been your best moment at AUDAC?
It is very hard to choose 1 moment over a time period of 18 years. PVS and the AUDAC brand have evolved in so many ways, therefore we had to adjust our logistic methods quite often over the years. Our biggest challenge was moving our warehouse to our new distribution center. We joined all hands together, not only with our own logistic team but all departments of the PVS family helped out. We started moving on a Friday and the next Tuesday we were operational again without any big hiccups. But the real moments that stay with me, are the moments that we get compliments from our customers about the marvelous job we are doing; which demonstrates that what we are doing all year round, is very satisfying.
