Willow Hotel in Trelleborg, Sweden, is a contemporary hospitality destination designed to offer more than a traditional hotel experience. With refined interiors, social spaces, and a strong focus on atmosphere, the hotel was created as a destination, where comfort, experience, and identity come together. To support this concept, a versatile and high-performance audio solution was required, capable of delivering consistent sound quality across a wide range of spaces.
Delivered in collaboration with integrator Effektgruppen AB and distributor Starfelt Company, the installation was designed to provide seamless audio coverage throughout the hotel’s indoor and outdoor areas. From lounge and restaurant spaces to circulation zones and exterior environments, the system combines discreet architectural integration with the flexibility to adapt to different atmospheres and use cases throughout the day.
A comprehensive amplification setup, including PMQ and SMQ series amplifiers, ensures reliable and efficient power distribution tailored to the acoustic requirements of each zone. ANI44XT interface units are integrated throughout the installation to enable seamless Dante audio integration, allowing the amplifiers to operate within the networked audio infrastructure while ensuring flexible signal distribution across the system.
A carefully selected combination of loudspeakers was deployed to match the architectural and functional needs of each space. CALI ceiling loudspeakers provide discreet and evenly distributed background music in refined interior areas, while ATEO and ALTI series loudspeakers deliver flexible coverage across social and circulation spaces. XENO loudspeakers and NOBA subwoofers add greater output and low-frequency depth in more dynamic environments, enhancing the atmosphere without compromising clarity or balance. ARCHI subwoofers further reinforce the low-frequency experience while maintaining a compact and architecturally integrated appearance.
NWP220 wall panels provide intuitive local control within selected zones, allowing staff to manage audio sources and volume levels where required. Combined with the overall system architecture, this ensures consistent and user-friendly operation throughout the venue.
The result is a flexible and immersive AUDAC audio solution that supports the identity and multifunctional nature of Willow Hotel. By combining reliable amplification, architecturally integrated loudspeakers, intuitive control, and balanced sound performance, the installation enhances the guest experience throughout the entire property.
