RAVA Beach Club in Phuket, Thailand, is a multi-zone beachfront venue combining open-air terraces, indoor lounges, and dedicated event spaces. To support daily background music, sunset sessions, and high-energy events, the venue required an audio system capable of delivering consistent sound quality, scalable output, and intuitive control across all areas.
The open architectural layout and combination of indoor and outdoor zones created a clear challenge: achieving uniform sound coverage without acoustic overload, ensuring independent zone control, and enabling seamless transitions between relaxed daytime ambience and vibrant evening performances. At the same time, the system needed to remain easy to operate for non-technical staff while offering the flexibility required for large-scale events.
Delivered in collaboration with local distributor Showtec Thailand, the solution is a fully networked AUDAC installation built around two LUNA-F digital audio matrix processors, forming the central backbone of the system. These processors manage all routing, signal processing, and zone distribution, allowing multiple areas to operate independently while remaining centrally controlled. Integration with the AUDAC Touch™ platform ensures intuitive system configuration and day-to-day control through a clear and user-friendly interface.
Audio coverage across the venue is delivered through a carefully selected combination of ALTI, ATEO6M, and VEXO loudspeakers. The ALTI6 pendant loudspeakers provide wide and natural dispersion in open-air areas, while ATEO6M cabinets offer versatile, weather-resistant performance suited for both background music and speech intelligibility. In zones requiring higher sound pressure levels and greater impact, VEXO high-performance loudspeakers deliver controlled dispersion and dynamic output.
Low-frequency reinforcement is provided by BASO and FX series subwoofers, adding depth and energy to the overall sound signature without compromising clarity or comfort. Indoor lounges and covered areas are equipped with CIRA and CENA ceiling loudspeakers, ensuring discreet architectural integration and uniform sound distribution that complements the venue’s refined design.
Amplification is handled through a combination of CAP, SMQ, and SMA series amplifiers, delivering efficient power management and reliable performance throughout the entire installation. NWP network interfaces and Wall-mounted NCP control panels expand the system’s flexibility by providing additional I/O options for connecting local audio sources such as DJ equipment or microphones. At the same time, they provide staff with straightforward access to local volume control and source selection, maintaining operational simplicity while preserving centralized system management.
The result is a robust and scalable audio infrastructure that perfectly matches the dynamic character of RAVA Beach Club. By combining intelligent networked control, high-performance amplification, and application-specific loudspeaker solutions, the installation delivers consistent sound quality, operational flexibility, and the adaptability required for both everyday ambience and high-energy beachfront events.
