What are your responsibilities at PVS?
As a Full Stack Web Developer at PVS, my primary responsibilities revolve around building and maintaining the company's websites and online platforms. We prefer to handle development in-house, so I'm involved in every aspect of the process. Additionally, I contribute to optimizing various business processes by developing automation solutions wherever feasible.
How does your day look like at PVS?
My typical day at PVS involves diving into web development tasks, whether it's building new features, fixing bugs, or optimizing existing systems. I collaborate closely with other team members to ensure our projects align with the company's goals and standards.
How did you end up at PVS?
My journey to PVS began when my family relocated from West Flanders to Limburg after the birth of my son. This move necessitated a change in jobs due to the distance. Recognizing the potential value I could bring to PVS with my expertise in web development, I made the decision to join the company.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
One thing that might surprise people about me is my diverse taste in music. I enjoy a wide range of genres, but I particularly appreciate music that offers a cinematic experience, often associated with films. Some of my favorite artists include Nick Cave, Paolo Nutini, Florence + The Machine, Tool, Pink Floyd, Balthazar, Flying Horseman, and Gorillaz, among others.
What has been your best moment at AUDAC?
The most rewarding moments at PVS for me are the successful launches of major projects such as the PVS portal, education platform, or new brand websites. These milestones signify the culmination of our hard work and dedication as a team.
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
After a challenging day at work, nothing beats unwinding with a warm embrace from one of my three wonderful children. Their love and affection have a remarkable ability to rejuvenate me and put everything into perspective.
