As a Mechanical Designer, you are responsible for the design and implementation of new products from concept to production.
Your responsibilities:
You are responsible for the entire development process: from the initial artistic concept to the final technical product.
You translate creative ideas into functional and technically feasible designs. You create product designs, ranging from initial (theoretical) concept drawings to final products and detailed production-ready designs.
You will create images and animations (2D and 3D) for both commercial and communication purposes.
You will develop 3D models, technical drawings and prototypes for audiovisual systems and accessories (including loudspeakers, mounting systems, amplifier housings, matrix systems, connectors, etc.).
You are responsible for setting up and monitoring the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) process in close collaboration with manufacturers, with a focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
You will assess your designs in terms of mechanical reliability, durability and user-friendliness.
You will devise and integrate innovative solutions to make products both aesthetically appealing and technically advanced.
You will write product documentation for both technical and commercial purposes.
You are responsible for monitoring the entire product creation cycle, including with external stakeholders (samples, prototypes, testing, etc.).
You support product management.
You act as a liaison between the product and marketing departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.
You contribute to market and competition analyses in order to maintain and further develop your feel for and insight into the market.
You will assist in testing, validating and optimizing prototypes and end products.
You will work closely with various internal teams (product management, electronics, acoustics) and external suppliers to achieve the best results.

What are the expectations for employment?
You have at least a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
You are creative in finding technical solutions. You have good spatial awareness.
You are proficient in design tools such as Autodesk Inventor and KeyShot (for 3D visualization and animation).
You preferably have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). This is a strong asset for commercial visuals and documentation.
You are result-oriented and have a solution-oriented mindset, with an eye for producibility and cost efficiency.
You are a true team player who can work well with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
You are a strong communicator, organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You have practical knowledge of materials, production techniques and assembly systems.
You are interested in the audio sector.
You have a good knowledge of English.
