The Clements Hotel in New Zealand is a refined hospitality destination where atmosphere and guest experience play a central role, particularly in the bar and restaurant areas. To support the elegant interior and social ambiance, a high-quality audio system was required to deliver clear, balanced background music while blending seamlessly into the architectural design. The solution needed to provide consistent sound coverage, reliable performance, and straightforward control for daily operation.
Delivered in collaboration with local distributor Greer Compston, the installation is built around the MTX88 audio matrix, enabling flexible distribution of audio across multiple zones within the bar and restaurant. This allows staff to manage different areas independently, ensuring the appropriate volume and atmosphere throughout the venue. Combined with the PRE116 and PRE126 preamplifiers, the system offers precise source management and smooth signal control, ensuring a stable and high-quality audio signal path.
Amplification is handled by SMQ350 and PMQ240 WaveDynamics™ power amplifiers, delivering efficient and reliable power to the loudspeaker network. This ensures consistent sound performance across all listening areas, supporting both background music and more lively service moments without compromising clarity or balance.
A carefully selected combination of ATEO, ALTI, and CSF series loudspeakers provides detailed and evenly distributed sound throughout the bar and restaurant. Their discreet design allows seamless integration into both wall-mounted and ceiling applications, while the BASO12 subwoofer adds low-frequency depth, enhancing warmth and richness to create a more immersive guest experience.
The result is a compact yet refined AUDAC audio solution that enhances the overall atmosphere of The Clements Hotel. By combining flexible zone control, reliable amplification, and architecturally integrated loudspeakers, the system contributes to a welcoming and premium hospitality environment for guests and staff alike.
