Stage Audio Works Namibia has successfully installed a tailored AUDAC audio system at the newly launched Namibia Padel Club in Swakopmund. Located along the scenic Platz-am-Meer promenade, the system supports both music playback and voice announcements across two outdoor padel courts.
Following the opening of its first club in Windhoek, Namibia Padel needed a scalable and weather-resistant solution for its second venue. AUDAC's robust, salt-tested ATEO series loudspeakers were the perfect fit for the harsh coastal conditions of Swakopmund. SAW Namibia installed eight ATEO4M and ATEO6M surface-mount loudspeakers across the site, powered by a reliable mix of AUDAC 100V and dual-channel amplifiers. This setup not only ensures crystal-clear playback and announcements but also enables long cable runs without signal loss—critical in open-air environments like outdoor sports courts.
“The client wanted high-quality audio on the courts without disturbing nearby businesses,” says Emcé Smit, Technical Manager at SAW Namibia. “AUDAC’s salt-tested speakers were ideal for the coastal climate, and the system can easily expand with future court additions.”
Despite tight timelines and shipping delays, the system was completed in time for the December 2024 opening. As Namibia Padel plans to grow into new regions like Walvis Bay and LĂĽderitz, this installation sets the standard for future rollouts.
