The post office in Goes, the Netherlands, is the place to eat, drink, laugh, dance and "roll" with friends and family. A barbecue restaurant, a large café, a terrace and two boules courts await guests. Aiming to introduce the traditional French sport of Pétanque to the Netherlands, the restaurant welcomes its visitors with delicious food and a contemporary interior. To match this modern and youthful look, the café opted for a high-quality sound system from AUDAC. This provides an upscale atmosphere for the optimal feel-good experience and draws in more customers. Likewise, a matching look of the speakers to the trendy bar was selected.
Dutch AUDAC Certified Partner MDV Electro Techniek was approached to put together a sound system that could be used for both background music and dance evenings.
The M2 Multimedia digital audio mixer is the core of the installation. The sound can be enjoyed in the different zones which are equipped with 16 elegantly styled ALTI4M mount loudspeakers and 28 ALTI6 pendant speakers. To create a balance between bass and high frequencies, the ALTI4M speakers are complemented by 8 NOBA8 active bass cabinets. Thanks to their elegant and compact design the installer was able to incorporate these bass cabinets nicely into the interior. The whole system is powered by two PMQ480, one PMQ240, two SMQ750 and two SMQ350 Quad-channel power amplifiers.
The Grand Café het Postkantoor in Goes offers the perfect location if you want to enjoy a delicious meal in a French atmosphere and afterwards play a game of Pétanque.
