What does the role involve?
As an Application & Solutions Engineer at PVS, you will ensure that our systems are not only technically strong, but can also be applied in a simple and reproducible way.
You will translate our technology into concrete solutions for different markets, such as hospitality, retail, and corporate environments, and make this knowledge accessible to Sales, Support, and our international distribution partners. This enables them to work independently with our solutions.
You will therefore become the technical expert for our applications and solutions.
What will you do?
- Develop and document reference solutions for different applications.
- Build and configure demo and training setups.
- Ensure that our Experience Center and demo vans are technically up to date and ready for use.
- Prepare technical demos, proof-of-concepts, trade shows, and customer events.
- Act as a second-line technical expert for complex technical questions.
- Provide training to Sales, Support, and distributors.
- Feed back insights and experiences from projects, demos, and Support to Product Management and R&D.
This role gives you the opportunity to work hands-on with the technology while also sharing your knowledge and helping shape how our solutions are applied worldwide.
What are the expectations for employment?
We are looking for a technically strong and curious professional with:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, ICT/Networking, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience in pro audio, AV, technical support, application engineering, or systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of networked audio and IP networks.
- Knowledge of DSP and professional audio systems.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management is a plus.
- An analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for delivering training and demos.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
