Which function needs to be occupied?
Are you passionate about quality and driven to test products in every detail? Then you might be the perfect addition to our team! As a SW & FW Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our (software) products. You will work closely with all members of the R&D team to develop and execute test plans, using both manual and automated testing methods. With your attention to details and problem-solving skills, you will help to deliver high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.
You will have a wide range of tasks, including:
- Work closely together with application software/firmware developers and business responsibles throughout the software life cycle to ensure that applications meet the needs of the users
- Perform testing using a variety of test methodologies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and other documentation for projects
- Participate in constructive peer review of test cases
- Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies
- Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications, and ensure 100% test coverage
- Help facilitate execution of acceptance test scripts by end users
What are the expectations for employment?
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or other relevant degree
- 3+ years of software testing experience, preferably in an agile-like environment
- You have experience in automated software testing, experience in firmware testing is a plus
- Expertise in writing and executing manual tests for complex software applications
- You are energised by communicating and working within cross-departmental teams consisting of software developers, department leads, and end users
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Take ownership of the entire testing process
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
