Located in the historic center of the Belgian town of Aalst, the food bar l'Ost & Stories opened in June 2021. It consists of a cozy food bar with delicious appetizers to share and an extensive selection of aperitifs, champagnes, wines, and cocktails. Daily fresh products and suggestions depending on the market offer customers the best food quality, alongside a pleasant, modern atmosphere.
To complement the modern look and to provide customers with the best possible feel-good experience, the food bar opted for a high-quality sound system from AUDAC, installed by Belgian certified partner, TX3.
The core of the installation is the MTX48 4-zone audio matrix, which can supply up to 4 different zones with sound. The modular XMP44 audio player serves as the music source and can be equipped with up to 4 different source modules. By easily sliding in the NMP40 Audio Streaming Sourcecon™ module and the IMP40 SourceCon™ internet audio player module, the staff can switch between streaming services such as Spotify and music streaming from the internet. It guarantees a true plug & play implementation so that the media player can be customized for any specific application.
The sound can be enjoyed in the different zones which are equipped with 13 CELO8 High-end ceiling speakers in the interior. On the terrace, 2 WX502 universal wall speakers were installed, which are weatherproof rated. Power to the speakers is provided by the EPA254 quad-channel amplifier.
With the support of this AUDAC sound installation, the L’Ost & Stories food bar has succeeded in creating a unique atmosphere that harmonizes wonderfully with the mix of offered drinks and food. They combined thus their best art of cooking with the best art of sound.
