Kim Clijsters Sports & Health Club

The Kim Clijsters Academy (KCA) is located in the city of Bree, Belgium. The academy is the perfect place for every young aspiring tennis player to reach his or her goals in professional tennis. It’s founded by Kim Clijsters, a well-known Belgian tennis player and four times winner of a Grand Slam. In addition, she was also ranked world No. 1 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) for 20 weeks.

The KCA is primarily a tennis club for the entire family, but also a place where people can practice other sports like yoga and fitness. Everyone is welcome here: from children who playfully cultivate their basic skills to passionate competition players who enjoy the wide range of tournaments, interclub competitions, etc.

The facility offers 8 indoor courts and 10 outdoor red clay courts but also 5 granulate courts and 3 hardcourt terrains which are perfect copies of the US Open courts on which Kim Clijsters won the American Grand Slam in 2005, 2009 and 2010. In the new club, it was necessary to install a complete audio system that could handle all applications both indoor and outdoor. An AUDAC installation was provided all over the complex to make this sports center an unforgettable experience for everyone.

A total of 64 CS74 ceiling speakers are installed which can deliver the right music best suited for the area they’re used: enjoyable background music to greet the visitors at the entrance hall or relaxing music at the physiotherapist. The people who like to relax after the workout can drink something at the lounge bar while also enjoying the background music thanks to the elegant and easily installable ATEO4 wall speakers which provide a true to-nature, high-fidelity reproduction of music and speech.

Inside the fitness center, 4 XENO8 full range speakers are installed to deliver energizing music for the sportsmen and women thanks to the powerful full range sound it delivers. 7 WX302/OB are installed at the terrace which are specifically designed for outdoor use thanks to their special treatment with powder coating.

To control this entire audio system, all speakers are connected to 3 different R2 Multi-zone digital audio matrixes that are linked to 4 CMP30 all-in-one digital audio players that provides the sporting complex with the flexibility of using a variety of sources such as CD-players, MP3 players and AF/FM tuners. Now, everyone can work up a sweat while enjoying the music provided by AUDAC.
