The brand-new Easi Arena in La Louvière marks a significant milestone for RAAL, providing an 8,000-seat stadium equipped to host major league matches, community events, and hospitality functions. Beyond its architectural ambition, the arena required a sound system that could combine stadium-grade power with refined indoor audio distribution across lounges, offices, press zones, and multifunctional areas.
To meet these demands, Audio Visual Architects designed and integrated a fully networked audio system built around the AUDAC Atellio ecosystem. The installation uses Dante-based routing and a central LUNA-F processor to manage all audio distribution, tribune control, emergency paging, and indoor zones. The result is a unified venue where match-day output, event inputs, and daily background audio operate reliably through one streamlined and intuitive platform.
A unified stadium experience
The main tribune accommodates 8,000 spectators and demanded both SPL power and speech intelligibility. A total of 43 VEXO115 high-performance loudspeakers, supported by dedicated BASO low frequency reinforcement and remote amplifier racks, ensure impactful stadium coverage while preserving clarity during announcements.
All amplification is distributed in four technical racks located across the venue to minimize cable distance and enhance operational security. Communication between racks runs over Dante via fiber, giving the stadium a fully digital audio backbone backed by robust redundancy and future scalability.
Match-day operation is handled from a PRODVX tablet, giving staff limited, safe, and direct control of tribune volume presets and synchronized lighting scenes, ensuring flawless execution even in high-pressure scenarios.
Connected interior zones
Beyond the pitch, Easi Arena includes event halls, corridors, hospitality lounges, fitness spaces, offices, and support zones. More than 80 WX Series and 40+ CIRA ceiling loudspeakers ensure consistent background audio throughout the facility while maintaining acoustic discretion.
VIP salons, player areas, media spaces, and internal meeting rooms benefit from individual source access and local music control via multiple NWP panels, including Bluetooth and XLR event connection points. Whether a DJ plugs in for a celebration, the fitness room streams music, or background ambience plays in hospitality lounges, every zone can function independently while remaining centrally monitored.
A digital heart built for control
At the heart of the Easi Arena installation is the LUNA-F network audio matrix, responsible for all Dante routing, synchronization, audio distribution, and system-wide supervision. Acting as the central processing hub, LUNA-F manages 64×64 Dante channels and ensures that every amplifier rack, tribune loudspeaker cluster, paging point, and indoor audio zone communicates seamlessly over the network. Staff interact with the system via AUDAC Touch dashboards configured for different needs:
Through these interfaces, every space, from concourse to boardroom, can be monitored, adjusted, or reconfigured instantly from any connected device including PC and mobile phone.
Integration with Crestron further simplifies non-technical use, providing push-button recall of presets without exposing system complexity.
Paging and safety assurance
To meet regulatory stadium requirements, two NPM200 paging consoles ensure:
During match operations, paging integrates with tribune presets, guaranteeing both output power and intelligibility without interrupting the show flow.
The Easi Arena now stands as a modern sports venue with a fully networked audio infrastructure capable of supporting international matches, VIP receptions, community operations, and future expansion phases. The system unifies power, control, and flexibility in one platform and enables staff to operate every zone confidently without technical complexity.
